What to Bring

Fishing License – AZ or Utah depending on where we fish. For scenic trolling trips, you only need an AZ license. For all other trips, I will discuss this with you when you book your trip. Arizona licenses need to be accompanied by a Lake Powell Stamp if we fish in Utah. For more info on license requirements visit the Arizona Game and Fish Dept at www.azgfd.gov or the Utah Division of Wildlife at wildlife.utah.gov.

  • Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses
  • Clothing for the Weather
  • Medication
  • Camera
  • Your own fishing equipment if you prefer to use it
  • You will need to provide your transportation to Wahweap Marina.
  • For directions visit https://www.lakepowell.com/discover/getting-here/
  • A cooler to take your delectable Lake Powell bass fillets home with!

On Spring Trips you will want a good coat and layered undergarments. On summer trips you may want lightweight clothing that protects your skin from the sun. If rain is in the forecast you should bring some rain gear. I have some plastic slickers for unpredicted storms but they leave a little to be desired as far as comfort and fit.
